How to learn English through writing?

Writing is the last skill to be develop as far as learning a foreign language is concerned. To be able to write properly, you have to know both grammar and vocabulary, which are to be learnt by listening, readning and speaking, as well as certain theoretical rules. 

Change your life into the English mode

A good idea is to change your mobile and computer language into English. Moreover, it is advisible to write text message to your friends in English. Why don’t you learn together to keep your fluency on a high level?

Write a diary

I have probably mentioned writing a diary several times on this blog. It doesn’t mean that you have to write about every single detail of your life no matter whether it is interesting or not. Let’s write about your thoughts, feeling and views, let’s make notes in English while learning something new or simply making a shopping list. Let’s write down things in your calendar in English. This is a perfect way of starting to think in that language. 

Write an article or a book in English

Too ambitious? Maybe…What are you fond of? What are you an expert on? Write about something you are good at and that interests you. In this way you will be really interested in what you are writing about. You may do it just for yourself, or you may use your text in the future. Who knows, maybe one day you will have your article published!
